first of all thx for the beautiful topic

and second of all

we for sure; can’t deny the rols that tecnology has played in our lives; it made it easier for us to do so many things in a short time and without a noticabale effort

i mean
if we look arround we sure can see that live has been much easier than it used to be

concernin study
before ppl had to go through the whole book just for one or two information

but now

all what we need is a click to get whatever information we want

so i guess yes

tecnology has done so much for our ***t

These are important steps to learn English

هذه خطوات مهمة لتعلم الإنجليزية

1 – Speak without Fear

تحدث دون خوف

The biggest problem most people face in learning a new ******** is their own fear. They worry that they won’t say things correctly or that they will look stupid so they don’t talk at all. Don’t do this. The fastest way to learn anything is to do it – again and again until you get it right. Like anything, learning English requires practice. Don’t let a little fear stop you from getting what you want.

أكبر مشكلة تواجه الناس في تعلم اللغة الإنجليزية هي الخوف من الوقوع في الخطأ أثناء التحدث .. الخوف يكون من نطق الكلمات بشكل صحيح .. أو أنهم يتوهمون أنهم أغبياء إذا أخطأوا في النطق .. مما يدفعهم لعدم التحدث مطلقاً ..
لا .. لا تفعل هذا .. أسرع وسيلة لتعلم الشيء هو القيام بمحاولة لتعلمه .. مرة و أخرى حتى تصيب الهدف .. ومثل أي شيء آخر .. تعلم اللغة الإنجليزية يتطلب التطبيق .. لاتدع مخاوفاً قليلة توقفك عن ما تريد تحقيقه .

2- Use all of your Resources

استعمل كل مصادرك

Even if you study English at a ******** school it doesn’t mean you can’t learn outside of class. Using as many different sources, methods and tools as possible, will allow you to learn faster. There are many different ways you can improve your English, so don’t limit yourself to only one or two. The internet is a fantastic resource for virtually anything, but for the ******** learner it’s perfect.

حتى لو كنت طالباً في مدرسة لتعليم اللغة الإنجليزية , فإن هذا لا يعني أنك لا تستطيع تعلم اللغة من وسائل و أماكن أخرى .. استعمال العديد من المصادر والطرق والوسائل بقدر المستطاع سيجعل تعلم اللغة يكون بشكل أسرع ..
هناك الكثير من المصادر يمكنك أن تطور لغتك الإنجليزية من خلالها .. لذلك لا يتوجب عليك أن تحصر نفسك في مصدر واحد أو أثنان فقط .. الإنترنت على سبيل المثال مصدر رائع عملياً .. وبالبنسبة لدراس اللغة يعتبر مصدر مثالي .

3- Surround Yourself with English

حاصر نفسك باللغة الإنجليزية

The absolute ***t way to learn English is to surround yourself with it. Take notes in English, put English books around your room, listen to English ******** radio broadcasts, watch English news, movies and television. Speak English with your friends whenever you can. The more English material that you have around you, the faster you will learn and the more likely it is that you will begin “thinking in English.” .

الطريقة الأفضل على الأطلاق لتعلم اللغة الإنجليزية هي أن تحاصر نفسك بها .. سجل ملاحظاتك باللغة الإنجليزية , ضع كتباً إنجليزية في غرفتك , استمع إلى إذاعات تتحدث اللغة الإنجليزية , شاهد الإخبار باللغة الإنجليزية , الأفلام والقنوات التلفزيونية باللغة الإنجليزية , تحدث باللغة الإنجليزية مع أصدقائك كلما أتيحت لك الفرصة , وكل ما حولك عبر عنه بهذه اللغة .. ستتعلم بشكل سريع ومن المحتمل أنك ستجد نفسك تستخدم اللغة حتى أثناء التفكير .

4 – Listen to Native Speakers as Much as Possible

استمع إلى أصحاب اللغة الأصليين

There are some good English teachers that have had to learn English as a second ******** before they could teach it. However, there are several reasons why many of the ***t schools prefer to hire native English speakers. One of the reasons is that native speakers have a natural flow to their speech that students of English should try to imitate. The closer ESL / EFL students can get to this rhythm or flow, the more convincing and comfortable they will become

قم بالتمارين والإختبارات

Many people think that exercises and tests aren’t much fun. However, by completing exercises and taking tests you can really improve your English. One of the ***t reasons for doing lots of exercises and tests is that they give you a benchmark to compare your future results with. Often, it is by comparing your score on a test you took yesterday with one you took a month or six months ago that you realize just how much you have learned. If you never test yourself, you will never know how much you are progressing

الكثير من الناس يعتقدون أن القيام بالتمارين و أداء الإختبارات أمراً ليس مسلياً . على كل حال , بإنهاء التمارين و أخذ الإختبارات يمكنك حقاً أن تطور لغتك . أحد أهم أسباب القيام بالتمارين والأختبارات هو أنها تعطيك فرصة المقارنة بين علاماتك المستقبلية مع العلامات السابقة . مقارنة ما أخذته امس مع ما أخذته قبل شهر او ستة أشهر .. ولتدرك كيف تغير مستواك وكم تعلمت .. إذا لم تقم بإختبار نفسك , لن تعلم مدى استمرارك في تحصيل اللغة

I brought for you some important English proverbs. All of us know what important role proverbs play and without knowing their meaning we won’t know what the speaker means in his talking. The same thing happens with Arabic and there are a lot of Arabic proverbs as equivalence to English proverbs. I hope from every member in Sedty to participate in translating these proverbs into Arabic and when we finish their translation another member brings other proverbs and so on. I hope from Sedty members to appreciate this idea to enforce our knowledge in proverbs

الأفعال المساعدة

بداية ماذا نعني بقولنا أفعال مساعدة مشروطة؟
What do we mean by Modal auxiliaries ?

وكما قلت سابقا هي عبارة عن مجموعة من الأفعال المساعدة التي يظهر معناها في شكلها وبمجرد النظر إليها .. وهي عموما توضح مواقف المتكلم أو بعبارة أخرى حالات المتكلم المختلفة ..أمثلة: بعضها يوضح معنى الضرورة القسوى وبعضها النصح والإرشاد وبعضها الإحتمالية والجواز …إلخ وسنرى ذلك إن شاء الله ..

والأفعال المساعدة المشروطة في اللغة الإنجليزية هي على النحو التالي:

Can

Could

Had better

May

Might

Must

Ought to

Shall

Should

Will

Would

وسندرس كل واحدة على حدة وإنفراد ومعانيها وسنذكر خصائص كلا منها والعبارات الشبيهة بها ونعمل مقارنات إيجابية..

ماهي الخصائص المشتركة للأفعال المساعدة المشروطة ؟

يجب ان نعرف إن هذا النوع من الأفعال المساعدة يختلف تماما عن الأفعال المساعدة اللي نعرفها زمان ودائما ..وأقصد أنا is-am-are

أولا:

هذا النوع من الأفعال المساعدة المشروطة يأخذ معه جميع أنواع الضمائر المعروفة المفردة والجمع وهي
She-He-it-we-they-you-I

يعني الأفعال السابقة وهي

Can

Could

Had better

May

Might

Must

Ought to

Shall

Should

Will

Would

تأخذ معها جميع أنواع الضمائر أوكي ..بعكس الأفعال المساعدة is-am-are

لأن is تأخذ مثل منتم عارفين she-he-it
و are تأخذ we-they-you
و am تأخذ I

ثانيا :

الأفعال المساعدة المشروطة لايمكن إضافة الـ s لها في نهايتها حتى لو سبقت بـ she-he-it التي تحتم علينا إضافة الـ s في نهاية الفعل

مثــــــــال

من الخطأ أن نقول

He cans do it .
هو يستطيع فعلها

وتصبح

He can do it

ثالثا:

تتبع الأفعال المساعدة المشروطة دائما ودائما ودائما بـ الفعل من مصدره الأصلي وبأبسط صورة أي من دون أي إضافات .
يعني فعل مشروط+الفعل الجذري الأصلي بدون إضافات أي بدون مثلا ing أو ed في النهاية ولا حتى في بداية الكلمة

مثــــــــــــال

لانقول
He can does it
بل

He can do it

فنلاحظ أننا وضعنا الفعل من مصدره الأصلي بعد can

ولانقول

He would went to Taif.
هو كان سيذهب على الطائف

بل

He would go to Taif.

فنلاحظ أننا وضعنا الفعل من مصدره الأصلي بعد would

والآن سنتطرق إلى شرح هذا النوع من الأفعال المساعدة بالتفصيل فهيا بنا:

أولا: الأفعال المساعدة المشروطة

May-might وهي تحمل نفس المعنى وإن إختلف شكل الكلمتين والكلمتين تعني يحتمل (بضم الياء) يمكن أو يجوز أن

مثلا

أنت تبحث عن سلوى ولاأحد متأكد بالضبط تماما أين هي فأنت تبحثين عنها وتريديها فتقومين بالسؤال:

أين سلوى؟
Where is Salwa?

فتأتي لك إفتراضات من الناس عن أماكن وجودها فأحدهم يقول :

She may be in her office.
يحتمل أن تكون في مكتبها

ولاخر يقول /
She might be having lunch.
يجوز أنها تتناول العشاء.

وأخرى تقول/
Ask Noha, she might know.
إسأل نهى يمكن أن تعرف.أو يجوز أن تعرف

إذا رأينا في جميع الاجابات السابقة عدم التأكد مئة بالمئة عن مكان وجودها لذلك نجد جميع الإفتراضات كانت أقل من 50%

وهذا ماأريد قوله أننا حين نستخدم may-might نكون أقل من 50% متأكدين من الكلام الذي نقوله وكلامنا كله جائز ومحتمل وليس أكيدا .أوكي..

هذين الفعلين ينقسمان إلى نوعين:
1- نوع نتكلم فيه عن الآن والوقت الحاضر present
2- نوع يتكلم عن المستقبل . future

ماهي صيغة النفي ؟
The negative form.

تكون صيغة النفي بمجرد إضافة كلمة not إلى may و might

فتصبح may not و might not

أمثلة/

It might not be true.
يحتمل أن لايكون صحيحا . present أي زمن المضارع

I am not sure whether I can lend you any money .I may not have enough.
أنا لست متأكدا ماإذا أستطيع أن أعيرك المال. يمكن أن لاأملك الكفاية. (مضارع)

ولاحظنا حبيباتي في المثالين السابقين أن المتحدثين كلامهم غير أكيد مئة بالمئة بل أقل من 50%

ماذا عن صيغة الماضي ؟
The past form of may-might

كيف نصيغ الماضي سؤال قد يسأله الكثير فأنا قد أكون غير متأكد من شيء معين حدث في الماضي …

بكل بساطة نستخدم الصيغة التالية والتي تدل على أن الجملة في الماضي البسيط وهي/

May + have+ P.P

أو

Might + have+ P.P

إذا نضع الفعل المساعد المشروط أولا وقد يكون may أو might حسب إختيارك ..ثم الفعل have ثم الصيغة الثالثة من الأفعال كما عرفناها .

أمثلة/

A- I wonder why Salem did not answer the phone?
أستغرب لماذا لم يرد سالم على التلفون.

B- He may have been asleep.
من المحتمل أن كان نائما (إذا في الماضي يجوز أنه كان نائما )

A- I cannot find my bag any where.
أنا لم أستطع أن أجد حقيبتي في أي مكان.

B- You might haveleft in the shop.
من المحتل أنك تركتيها في المحل (في الماضي)

أوكي أتمنى وضح المقصوود..

والآن جاء دور المستقبل ..وهذا ماذكرته سابقا ..أنه من المحتمل أن نتكلم عن أشياء محتملة الوقوع والحدوث في المستقبل والصيغة هي نفس صيغة المضارع البسيط العادي إلا أن معنى الجملة بالكامل يفيد أننا نتكلم عن إحتمالية حدوث شيء معين مستقبلا..

أمثلة/

Take an umberrlla with you when you get out side.It might rain later.
خذ معك مظلة حينما تود الخروج فيحتمل ان تمطر لاحقا.

إذا فهمنا من سياق الكلام أن الإحتمالية ستكون في المستقبل والصيغة هي نفس المضارع وذلك بوضع الفعل المساعد المشروط +المصدر من الفعل.

I may go to Irland to spent my coming holiday.
من المحتمل أن أذهب إلى إيرلندا لأقضي إجازتي القادمة .

إذا المعنى في المستقبل ونفس صيغة المضارع.وذلك بوضع الفعل المساعد المشروط +المصدر من الفعل.

Ahmad may not come to the party tonight.He is not well.
من المحتمل أن أحمد لن يأتي الحفلة الليلة فهو ليس على مايرام.
المعنى في المستقبل لأن الحفلة لم تحدث بعد.وذلك بوضع الفعل المساعد المشروط +المصدر من الفعل.وهنا نلاحظ النفي

هناك إستخدامات أخرى للفعلين:

+ للسؤال المهذب/ أعني حينما تسأل أحدا أن يعطيك شيئا بأدب وبأسلوب مؤدب فتقول مثلا:

May I borrow your pen?
هل لي أن أستعير قلمك؟

إلا أنه هنا إستخدام might نادرا جدا .و may أكثر إستخداما . فلانقول
Might I borrow your pen?

+حينما أيضا نعطي الإذن الرسمي لشيء معين أو السماح بأمر ما ..

You may leave the room.
تستطيع أن تترك الغرفة.

الخلاصة :

* May -Might هي من الأفعال المساعدة المشروطة والتي لها خصائص معينة عرفناها خلال الدرس.

*الكلمتين لها نفس المعنى والإستخدام وإن إختلفوا في الشكل ..

*الكلمتين تعني أننا بنسبة أقل من 50% متأكدين من الكلام الذي نقوله..

*صيغة المضارع والمستقبل له نفس الصيغة وهي الفعل المساعد المشروط+المصدر من الفعل
إلا أننا نفهم من سياق الجمله المعنى إن كان في المضارع والمستقبل.

* صيغة النفي هي may not و might not

*صيغة الماضي هي:

May + have+ P.P

أو

Might + have+ P.P

* من الممكن أن تستخدمي الفعلين
+ للسؤال المؤدب
+حينما أيضا نعطي الإذن الرسمي لشيء معين أو السماح بأمر ما ..

أولا/ الفعل المساعد must

ماذا نعني بهذا الفعل المساعد must؟

هذا الفعل إحدى الأفعال المساعدة . وحينما نستخدم must نعني به الضرورة القصوى واللازمة لعمل شيء معين …بمعنى آخر نحن لانستخدم must إلا إذا أردنا التعبير عن الضرورة الحتميةالتي لاتحتمل الإنتظار لعمل شيء معين ..ونلاحظ هنا الفرق الواضح بين must و may-might حيث أن الفعلين الأخيرين كما درسنا سابقا يختلف معناهم عن must لأن معناهم الجواز وعدم التأكد من الخبر ونسبة الخبر كما عرفنا هي أقل من 50%.

Examples/أمثلة

All applicants must take entrance exam.

يجب على كل طالبين الوظيفة حضور إختبار القبول

مالذي لاحظناه هنا؟

لاحظنا وجود must وبعده على طول الفعل من مصدره بلا إضافات take >> إذا لاحظنا هنا الضرورة الحتمية لحضور الإختبار لأنه ضروري لكل طالبين الوظيفة ولايوجد أي خيار آخر فالإختبار ضروري ومطلوب ويجب حضوره must

يجب علي أن أستيقظ مبكرا غدا فعندي كثير من الأمور علي أن أقوم بها.

مالذي لاحظناه هنا؟

لاحظنا وجود must وبعده على طول الفعل من مصدره بلا إضافات get up >> إذا لاحظنا هنا الضرورة الحتمية للإستيقاظ مبكرا في الغد لأنه ضروري لي عمل ذلك ولايوجد أي خيار آخر فكثير من الأمور علي أن أنهيها إن لم أنهيها غدا فسأتعطلضروري ومطلوب ويجب الإستيقاظ مبكرا إذا في الغدmust

يجب عليك أن تمارس اللغة الإنجليزية .سوف تنساها.

كيف نصيغ الماضي والمضارع والمستقبل من الفعل المساعد must ?

صيغة المضارع عادية جدا كما في درسنا السابق ؟

must+infinitive verb

أي نضع الفعل المساعد must ثم الفعل من مصدره بلا إضافات
ونلاحظ من سياق مفردات الجملة أننا نتحدث عن الزمن الحالي أو المضارع..

مثـــــــــــــــــــــــال

I must go now.

يجب أن أذهب الآن .
لاحظنا الصيغة وهي must وبعدها المصدر من الفعل بلا إضافات go ولاحظنا إن سياق الجملة يتحدث عن الوقت الحالي والمضارع بكلمة now

صيغة المستقبل أيضا عادية جدا كما في درسنا السابق وهي مشابهة أو نفس صيغة المضارع إلا أننا نفهم من سياق الجملة أننا نتحدث عن المستقبل والصيغة هي :

must+infinitive verb

أي نضع الفعل المساعد must ثم الفعل من مصدره بلا إضافات
ونلاحظ من سياق مفردات الجملة أننا نتحدث عن الزمن المستقبل ..

مثـــــــــــــــــــــــال

I must go tomorrow.

يجب أن أذهب غدا.
لاحظنا الصيغة وهي must وبعدها المصدر من الفعل بلا إضافات go ولاحظنا إن سياق الجملة يتحدث عن الوقت القادم أو المستقبل بكلمة tomorrow

أما صيغة المااضي Past فحقيقة قد يستغرب البعض لو قلت لكن أن الماضي نكتبه في حالة واحدة فقط حينما نأتي بالماضي من المضارع وليس المستقبل..

أقصد يعني إن نحن كما عرفنا سابقا أم هناك من الصيغ أو الـ forms اللي نستخدمها للفعل المساعد must هي صيغة المضارع present والمستقبل future والزبدة أننا حينما نريد صياغة الماضي من must يتم ذلك في حالة واحدة فقط حينما نقوم بعمل ذلك من جملة في المضارع البسيط وأضيفي إلى ذلك أن نسبة تأكدك من شيء معين في الجملة =95%…نشوف مثال:

Noha is not in class.She must be sick.
نهى ليست في الفصل .يجب أنها مريضة..

لاحظنا أن هذه الجملة في صياغة الـ present وأنها تعني التأكد من خبر معين بنسبة 95%
والخبر هنا كونها مريضة فهي خمنت فقط أو أفترضت مرضها بنسبة 95%.

الشرطين توفرا:

ويكون حسب الصيغة التالية :

must+have+been

فتصبح الجملة :

Noha must have been sick yesterday.

إذا الآن الجملة في الماضي ..أتمنى وضحت هذه النقطة لكم….

صيغة النفي من الفعل المساعد must:
The Negative form

كما هو معروف أن صيغة النفي تتم عن طريقة إضافة كلمة النفي not إلى must

والنتيجة هي : must not

إلا أن إختصارها وهو Mustn’t

أكثر إستخداما وشيوعا وصيغة النفي هنا تضيف معنى مختلف تماما للإيجاب فيما سبق
ويصبح المعنى الضرورة القسوى والشديدة لعدم فعل شيء معين

Examples/أمثلة

You must keep it a secret .you mustn’t tell any body.

يجب عليك حفظه كسّر .يجب عليك أن لا تخبر أحدا.

والآن جاء دور الفعل المساعد have to ((هاف تو)) وعليكم بتدوين الفروق بين هذا الفعل وmust >>>ثانيا/ الفعل المساعد have to

ماذا نعني بهذا الفعل المساعد have to

هذا الفعل إحدى الأفعال المساعدة وينطق have to وخلال الكلام على طول هاف تا يعني hafta والمفرد منه وهو has to وينطق hasta أو هاز تا وحينما نستخدم have to لانعني به الضرورة القسوى واللازمة لعمل شيء معين كما في must لكن نستخدمها لإبراز حقيقة معين يفترض من شخص ما أن يعملها …..بمعنى آخر نحن لانستخدم have to إلا إذا أردنا التعبير أن شيئا معينا يجب عليك فعله لأن الوضع والحالة يحتم عليك فعله لكن ليس شيئا ضروريا ضرورة صارمة كما في Must تلك الضرورة الحتميةالتي لاتحتمل الإنتظار لعمل شيء معين ..ونلاحظ هنا الفرق الواضح بين must و have to أو hase to فكلاهما تعني معنى واحد وهو (يجب) إلا أن مازالت الفروق واضحة بينهما من ناحية الإستخدام حيث أن الفعلين الأخيرين كما رأينا سابقا يختلف معناهم عن must لأن معناهم يجب عليك فعل شيء معين لأن الموقف والوضع والحالة يتطلب ذلك أما must فيجب عليك فعل شيء معين لأنه ضروري عمله ضروري قسوى وإلا نتج شيء ما ..

Examples/أمثلة

All applicants have to take entrance exam.

يجب على كل طالبين الوظيفة حضور إختبار القبول

مالذي لاحظناه هنا؟

لاحظنا وجود have to وبعده على طول الفعل من مصدره بلا إضافات take >> إذا لاحظنا هنا يجب عليك حضور الإختبار لأن الموقف والقاعدة تقول ذلك ..لكن لاحظوا ليس ضروري ضرورة قسوى لاتحتمل الإنتظار وإلا نتج شيء آخر كما في must .

I have to get up early tomorrow. I am going away & my train leaves at 7.30..

يجب علي أن أستيقظ مبكرا غدا سأسافر بعيدا وقطاري (اي الذي سأذهب فيه) سيغادر الساعة السابعة والنصف.

مالذي لاحظناه هنا؟

لاحظنا وجود have to وبعده على طول الفعل من مصدره بلا إضافات get up >> إذا لاحظنا هنا يجب علي القيام مبكرا غدا لأن الموقف ووضعي غدا يحتم ذلك .. فالقطار سيغادر السابعة والنصف وسفري سيكون بعيدا وطويل..إذا الموقف وهو السفر الطويل وموعد تحرك القطار حتما ذلك علي إذا الموقف هو الذي حتم ذلك علي..

I can hear you. you don’t have to shout.

أسمعك جيدا ليس من الضروري أن تصرخ

إذا معنى النفي دائما = قلة الضرورة لشيء معين.

Tomorrow is a holiday. We
don’t have to go to class.

غدا سيكون إجازة.ليس من الضروري أن نذهب إلى الفصل.

Salem doesn’t have to work on Friday.

ليس من الضروري لسالم أن يعمل يوم الجمعة.
